Qualified early years practitioner – Strathmore Pre-School, Hitchin
Hours

Monday – Thursday, 8.45am – 3.15pm

Friday, 8.45am – 1.15pm

We require an enthusiastic level 3 individual with relevant pre-school experience, to work as part of our team, under the direction of the pre-school leader and/or deputy. You will be responsible for providing safe, high quality education and care for young children, whilst ensuring that all policies and procedures are implemented at all times. 

You will need excellent communication skills and a positive, nurturing attitude towards working with families and the staff team. You will ensure all the children's needs are met and we expect a commitment to the implementation of EYFS goals and to safeguarding children's welfare.

This position comes with generous terms and conditions and with the support of a dedicated management committee. Our popular pre-school was also rated outstanding by Ofsted in November 2018.

Family support workers – The BECC Family Centre, Borehamwood
Hours 39 hours per week
Salary Circa £21,000 (depending on age and experience)
FT/PT/TT Full time
Location The BECC Family Centre, Borehamwood

We are looking for someone who has:

  • level 3 - 4 in a recognised professional qualification in health, education, childcare, social care or equivalent
  • experience of working with families (2 plus years) including experience of home visiting and case load management
  • knowledge of the importance of safeguarding children
  • knowledge and experience of facilitating parenting programmes e.g. Parenting Puzzle, Families Feeling Safe.

The role will involve:

  • working with hard to reach families
  • delivering one to one programmes of work in order to achieve the best outcomes for a family
  • computer literacy and keeping accurate records
  • partnership working.

The role will involve:

  • planning for high quality play, learning and health activities
  • using a range of delivery methods and health promotion materials to support the promotion of key public health messages
  • supporting the identification of families that would benefit from additional support
  • actively supporting diversity and inclusion throughout the services available to families.

Car driver and level 3 in early years essential.

Administration assistant – Stevenage Family Centres, Stevenage
Hours

22 hours per week

  • Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 12.30pm
  • Wednesday, 1pm – 3pm
Salary

Full time equivalent is £16,965

Salary for 22 hours will be pro rata
FT/PT/TT Part time
Location Stevenage

Administration support required across six family centres in Stevenage.

Duties will include:

  • reception cover
  • data input
  • filing/office management
  • working with the Stevenage team to provide appropriate support for families.
