Early years inclusion funding
As of September you will now only be able to claim inclusion funding for a child at your setting via the early years portal. You will need to indicate that you would like to apply for the inclusion funding via the portal when completing your funding returns. This is done by selecting inclusion funding from the drop down menu under the heading SEN/EHC.
More information in regards to inclusion funding including a full guidance document can be found on the Local Offer. Please read through this document and familiarise yourself with it before applying for the inclusion fund. Settings will be chosen at random and asked to evidence how the funding has been spent and how it is benefitting the child. Settings will be asked to return the money if it is found that the funding has not been used in line with the guidance.

Please note inclusion funding can now only be applied for via the EY portal.
